Support and troubleshooting
Start with DIAGNOSTICS in the app. It reports server status, stream methods, scan errors and playback failures. Export the redacted report when requesting help.
Media does not appear
Check that the drive is connected and the Windows user can read it. Run RESCAN. Unsupported or unreadable files appear in scan feedback; never delete your source media to repair the library.
A phone or TV cannot connect
Keep the PC awake, use the same home network and allow GGTV on private networks. Guest Wi-Fi isolation and VPN adapters can prevent access. Use the real address shown under Guided Setup → Connect Another Device.
Installer and Windows protections
This candidate uses a self-issued signing certificate, without trusted publisher verification. SmartScreen or antivirus may warn; do not turn protections off or bypass a block. Confirm the source and checksum, and wait for an approved signed release if Windows blocks installation. Re-running the installer is the supported repair route; user data remains in your LocalAppData folder.
Contact and reports
Use the Giant Gamers support channel supplied with your test invitation. No public support form or email is advertised until its destination is verified. Never send your license key, media files, passwords or full config backups.
